I love how hair trends are always changing. I’m inspired by classic looks as well as the edgy Haute Couture runway looks.
Reasons for getting into the hair industry?
I’ve always been into fashion. I studied Fashion Designing in 2010 and worked in the fashion industry. I wanted to expand my education into hair and make-up. I instantly fell in love.

I usually love to go out with friends in cities like Hillcrest, North and South Park, University Heights, Ocean Beach, Downtown San Diego, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City to people or window shop the street fashion. I also watch a lot of fashion shows online.
What is your greatest professional accomplishment?
I would have to say I had the honor to create a dramatic makeup for a young man attending one of San Diego biggest fundraiser event The Red Dress Party of 2016. It’s was an amazing opportunity to create a look that was seen by many who I admire myself.
What/ Which hair product do you love and why?
My favorite products are:
• Bumble and Bumble Thickening Hairspray– great for lifted at the roots when blow drying.
• Bumble and Bumble All Style- it’s a good heat protectant product, and holds your style for a all day/ night look.
Best celebrity style?
Where do I start? Well I love Marina singer/songwriter from Marina and the Diamonds and Dita Von Teese. Both of these women style are very much retro 40’s- 60’s from head to toe Hollywood Glam. I’m inspired by Grimes singer/songwriter/productor, her style is very Japanese Street Fashion. She goes for that sweet baby doll look to grudge punk rock which I find very Modern. I can’t forget RuPaul who has swept the nation with her shantey. She is just a beautiful Drag Queen Goddess.
Who do you most admire and why?
My grandparents are my number 1 most admired people in my life. They have been there for my siblings and I since birth. They have been married for 54 years now and they still flirt with each other. My favorite moment of them together is when we go to family parties they always were on the dance floor dancing the cha cha. My Grandparents are creative people who love fashion, dance, music, sewing, and drawing. I guess it runs in the family.
